The Georgia Food Code specifies three types of food service. Fixed locations like conventional restaurants,
mobile food service, and temporary food service. Mobile units operate throughout the year at specific locations that must be known by the health department ahead of time. Temporary food service establishments operate in conjunction with some type of organized event that lasts less than fourteen days.
