There must be a portable toilet within 200 feet of the foundation or proposed foundation
The maximum number of workers served can not exceed 20 for each portable toilet
Portable toilets may be shared between multiple buildings and multiple owners as long as the distance and capacity requirements are met. This includes multiple property owners with written agreement.
The toilets shall be serviced no less than bi-weekly.
The temporary toilet permit fee will be $100.00 for each toilet or facility.
The permit will be valid for one year
The permitted portable toilet can not be moved. The permit is for a specific location. If it is necessary to move the portable toilet for some legitimate reason the Health Department must be contacted for approval.
The permit will be issued immediately upon the Forsyth County Health Department receiving the application and fee. A site visit will be made within two weeks to determine compliance.
In the event of non-compliance the applicant will be given 5 business days to remedy the situation. If compliance is not completed within 5 days the original permit will be voided and the Forsyth County Planning Department will be requested to issue a Stop Work Order.
